EARLY RELEASE, THURSDAY, APRIL 21ST AT 11:00am

Registration for the next school year is now open and can be completed through your Skyward Family Access account.  Once in Family Access, please be sure to choose “Returning Student Registration for the 2022-23 School Year”.  All students must complete online registration each year in order to attend DeKalb schools.  Any high school students who are not registered will not receive their schedules until online registration is completed.  For assistance with your login and password, please follow the instructions for Parent/Guardians found on the Skyward Family Access login page or contact the main office at DHS.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to register your student!

Attention Seniors & Juniors!!  Today, Tuesday, April 19th is the LAST day to purchase a Prom ticket.  Bring your ID and $50 per ticket to W111 before school or E109 after school. Tickets will not be available after Tuesday and they will not be sold at the door!!  Also remember that non-DHS guest forms are due to the main office by April 22nd. 

Attention Barbs:  DHS Dance Team Tryouts for the 2022-2023 school year are this week! Choreography Clinics are Wednesday, April 20 from 6-8:30 and Thursday, April 21 from 3-5:30 in the DHS Dance Room. You must attend one Choreography Clinic in order to be eligible to try out. Everyone will be assigned an official tryout time on Saturday, April 23. Contact Coach Valkner with any questions.

Attention Barbs:  To all girls interested in summer basketball please attend a brief meeting after school this Wednesday, April 20th in room P105.  If you have any questions contact coach Bjelk.

Attention GSA!  Your next meeting is today, April 19th from 3-4p in Room N204.

Attention Barbs!  Anyone interested in playing football should attend a meeting on Wednesday, April 20th from 3-4p in the Forum Room. 

Attention Barbs:  Come out to the DeKalb High School Musical ‘Mamma Mia’ - A feel good tale of love, laughter, and friendship filled with ABBA’s timeless songs.  The shows will be April 28th-30th at 7:00p in the Auditorium.  Tickets are $10 for Adults/$5 for Students, Seniors, and Children and are available at the door or online at https://onebarb.hometownticketing.com/embed/all

Attention Barbs! Student Council Election Process Update:  Please attend an informational meeting during FLEX on Tuesday, April 19th in the Commons as there have been many questions come up regarding the election process.  Also note that credential interviews will now be  held on Tuesday, May 3rd with time slots before and after school.  Packets will now be due Wednesday, April 27th by 2:45 pm.  Please see Mrs.Cotovsky or Ms.Sears if you have any questions.  

Attention Barbs:  DeKalb Barb Boosters is hosting a Trivia Night Fundraiser on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Fatty’s Pub & Grill from 6:30p-10p.  Attached is the flier that provides more detail.

DHS Parking Tag Request Form - Please complete this form to request a parking tag and either pay online through Skyward, or bring  cash or check (made payable to Dist #428) to the DHS main office. You must have a parking tag displayed in your vehicle at all times or risk being ticketed and or towed.
