Barb Food Mart Information

Registration for the next school year is now open and can be completed through your Skyward Family Access account.  Once in Family Access, please be sure to choose “Returning Student Registration for the 2022-23 School Year”.  All students must complete online registration each year in order to attend DeKalb schools.  Any high school students who are not registered will not receive their schedules until online registration is completed.  For assistance with your login and password, please follow the instructions for Parent/Guardians found on the Skyward Family Access login page or contact the main office at DHS.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to register your student!

Attention Barbs:  Come out to the DeKalb High School Musical ‘Mamma Mia’ - A feel good tale of love, laughter, and friendship filled with ABBA’s timeless songs.  The shows will be April 28th-30th at 7:00p in the Auditorium.  Tickets are $10 for Adults/$5 for Students, Seniors, and Children and are available at the door or online at https://onebarb.hometownticketing.com/embed/all

Attention Barbs:  All students who earned a medal for the National Spanish Exam, we will take a photo for the yearbook on Wednesday, April 27th, at 7:40 a.m. outside of W209. Please make sure to bring your medal!

Attention Barbs:  Book Club, your next meeting is Wednesday, April 27th from 3-4 in the Media Center. 

Hey Barbs:  To all students interested in running for an elected position for the 22-23 school year for Student Council...just a reminder that your election materials are due no later than Wednesday, April 27th by 2:45pm. No late forms will be accepted. Credential Interviews will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd before and after school. Please see Mrs. Cotovsky or Ms. Sears if you have any questions.

Hey Barbs!  DeKalb vs. Sycamore Baseball tickets are now on sale at fnbochallenge.org or the link is on Twitter @BarbsBaseball.  The double header is April 30th at 10:00am, it is the first ever First National Challenge for Baseball!  Tickets include both games & a hot dog lunch!  Come on out and show your Barb Pride!

Attention Barbs:  Do you want to get your driving permit early?  Attend the Parent/Student meeting on May 2nd at 6:00p in the FORUM ROOM.  Check the attached pdf for all the information. 

Attention Barbs:  May 3rd is the last day to complete retakes for the Seal of Biliteracy.  If you are interested in retaking a portion of your test, please check your email for a message from Ms. Gilley.

Attention Barbs! Based on your votes, Student Council would like to present our 2nd Annual Movie in the Park...10 Things I Hate About You. Thank you to everyone that voted. The event will take place on May 13th in the DHS Stadium. The gate will open at 7pm and the movie will start at 7:30pm. Admission is free, but you will need to pick up a ticket in the Athletic Office with Mrs. Rodgers starting Monday, April 25th. Concessions will be sold for $1 an item. We look forward to seeing you there!

DHS Parking Tag Request Form - Please complete this form to request a parking tag and either pay online through Skyward, or bring  cash or check (made payable to Dist #428) to the DHS main office. You must have a parking tag displayed in your vehicle at all times or risk being ticketed and or towed.
