DeKalb County Mental Health Board met Feb. 10.

Collaboration for Equity and Belonging in Behavioral Healthcare (CEBiB)
Committee Members Present: Robert Cook, Dr. Quiana Jones, Lisa King, Sheridan Threadgill, Jane Smith, Dr. Kimberly Johnson, Dori DeLaCruz, Perry Maier
Office staff: Deanna Cada
1. Call to Order/Introductions
Mr. Cook called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.
2. Agenda Approved
Mr. Cook made a motion to approve the agenda. The motion passed by consensus.
3. Minutes Approved from 1/10/2022
Mr. Cook moved to approve the minutes of the January 10, 2022 meeting. The motion passed by consensus.

a. Community Survey Focus Group Meeting Feedback – 22 Community Members participated in the Community Survey Focus Group meeting. The group members offered suggestions to improve the survey. Ms. Cada implemented the recommended changes and shared them with the committee.
b. Survey Product/Purchase – Ms. Cada shared the process of exploring survey products. Survey Monkey appears to be the best product. A quote has been received and presented at the March 2022 Finance Committee meeting. Discussion ensued on the best way to collect hard copies of the survey and infuse the survey into the community.
c. Survey Team – Committee members will notify Ms. Cada if they are interested in participating on the Survey Team.
d. Professional Development Opportunities – Ms. Cada asked for this to be on the agenda to capture any possible professional development options.
e. Other opportunities – Discussion ensued about distributing the survey and preparing committee members to answer questions about the survey.
6. Date of next CEBiB Committee Meeting – March 31, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. – Hybrid Meeting
