Registration for the next school year is now open and can be completed through your Skyward Family Access account.  Once in Family Access, please be sure to choose “Returning Student Registration for the 2022-23 School Year”.  All students must complete online registration each year in order to attend DeKalb schools.  Any high school students who are not registered will not receive their schedules until online registration is completed.  For assistance with your login and password, please follow the instructions for Parent/Guardians found on the Skyward Family Access login page or contact the main office at DHS.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to register your student!

Attention Seniors:  Cap/Gown pick-up and Chromebook return is set for Friday, May 20th.   

• You may start to return chromebooks as early as Thursday, May 19th and then into Friday, May 20th between 7:15 am -3:30 pm in the Black Box Theater. 
• Herff Jones will distribute cap/gown during lunch periods (10:20a-1:30p) only on May 20th.  
• If you are not able to pick up your cap/gown on May 20th, you will need to contact Herff Jones at 815-756-4743.
• Please make sure that you take care of any fees on your account. 

Attention Seniors:  Anyone that attended Lincoln Elementary is invited to attend the Senior Walk  on Wednesday, May 25th at 9:00 am. 

Attention Seniors:  Calling all Senior Littlejohn Owls!  You are invited to Littlejohn Elementary on May 20th at 2:00 pm to walk the halls and join in on the Field Day Kickball Game.  Bring your cap and gown if you’d like a picture in front of the sign!

Attention Barbs!  The end of the school year is near, so don't forget to order your yearbook!  You can place your order during the lunch periods at Trader Crows or after school, first floor west wing FTLA.  The books are $55.  Order one before the end of the school year.  If you want to order one online go go yearbookordercenter.com and enter school code 8570.  Contact Mr.Hillmer if you have any questions. 

Hey Barbs:  If you are registered for AP English Language and Composition next school year, ask your Humanities teacher for a copy of the summer homework or stop by E115 to grab a copy.  Please check with your counselor if you are not sure if you signed up for the class. 

Hey Barbs! DHS Student Council will be hosting a spring final exam study night on Thursday, May 19th from 6-8pm in The Commons. Popcorn, juice, and water will be provided! We will have teachers from various subject areas available to provide help and assistance with whatever questions you may have. Hope to see you there!

Attention Barbs! Based on your votes, Student Council would like to present our 2nd Annual Movie in the Park...10 Things I Hate About You. Thank you to everyone that voted. The event will take place on May 13th in the DHS Stadium. The gate will open at 7pm and the movie will start at 7:30pm. Admission is free, but you will need to pick up a ticket in the Athletic Office with Mrs. Rodgers starting Monday, April 25th. Concessions will be sold for $1 an item. We look forward to seeing you there!

DHS Parking Tag Request Form - Please complete this form to request a parking tag and either pay online through Skyward, or bring  cash or check (made payable to Dist #428) to the DHS main office. You must have a parking tag displayed in your vehicle at all times or risk being ticketed and or towed.
