Representative Jeff Keicher hosted traveling office hours to gain feedback on issues and gather ideas for legislation.

“We’d love to get your feedback on any state issues on your mind,” Keicher wrote on Facebook. “Questions and ideas for legislation are always welcome.”

Ballotpedia wrote Keicher won the Republican nomination uncontested to represent Illinois’ 70th District. He is heading to the November general election uncontested as well.

“With the right leadership, together we can restore the greatness of Illinois by making our state a more affordable place to live, work, raise a family, start a business and enjoy retirement security,” Keicher said to WIFR in 2021. “We must also implement reforms to better protect veterans and children in the state’s care,” says Representative Keicher.

Keicher has kept himself busy this spring and summer.

This isn’t the first set of traveling office hours that Keicher’s staff has embarked on. There have been several over the last few months including a stop in Maple Park.

Shaw Local wrote Keicher and others hosted a job fair back in April. He’s also visited Courtland.

“Enjoyed coffee and conversation with folks in Maple Park this morning,” Keicher said in a recent Facebook post. "Thank you to everyone who attended one of my recent coffees with Senator Dave Syverson over the last couple (of) weeks in Sycamore, Hampshire, and Big Rock! We appreciate all of your feedback and the time you took out of your day to make your voice heard.”

The two legislators have held three Coffee and Conversation events throughout the district in April and Mad. The events were free and allowed constituents to have their voices heard and connect with the people who represent them in the General Assembly.
