Cortland home prices rose in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Cortland rose by $3,750 while total sales decreased by 75 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,750 - a 1.7 percent increase over the $217,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Cortland in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Cortland for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,462, approximately 2.5 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
