School resumes on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Freshmen Orientation is set for Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 1:30p-3:30p for incoming Freshmen only. Students will work with upper classmen to ask questions, tour the building and receive their chromebook for the school year. Students should bring their old chromebook so that it can be replaced with their new chromebook. Following orientation, we will have an Activity Fair and “1 BarBBQ” from 3:30p-5:00p. Freshmen families are invited to attend our “1 BarBBQ” with their freshmen students at that later time. Transportation to and from school will be available only for the orientation portion, which runs from 1:30p-3:30p. If students would like to stay for the “1 BarBBQ”, families will need to pick students up or attend the event. We look forward to seeing you.
In preparation for the 2022-2023 school year, we are opening our DHS doors ahead of time on Thursday, August 11th from 1:30p-3:30p for any student that would like to come in to find your locker, find your classes, and walk through your schedule. If you can’t make it this day, but would like to come in before the 1st day of school, please contact the main office at 815-754-2100 to set up a time with your Dean.
