Northern Illinois University Lifelong Learning Institute Fall Classes

The Northern Illinois University (NIU) Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is hosting nine courses this fall, including: 

  • What has the Constitution Wrought? With Convenor Joe Grush, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Sept 13-Oct 4)
  • Indelible: A Study of Photographs We Won’t Let Fade Away Part 2: Images from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, with Convenor Joe Gastiger, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Oct 11-Nov 1)
  • Notables, 1:00-2:45 p.m. (Tuesdays, Sept 13-Nov 1)
  • Armchair Towns – Sicilian Sights with Convenor Judith Testa, 9:30-11:30 am (Wednesdays, Sept 14-Sept 28)
  • Italian Civilization of the Middle Ages and Renaissance with Convenor Christopher Nissen, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (Wednesdays, Oct 5-Nov 2)
  • The Other Side of History: The Way of Life with Convenors Judy Wright and Donna Benson, 1:00-3:00 p.m. (Wednesdays, Sept 14-Nov 2)
  • “I Ain’t No False Prophet”: Bob Dylan in five Albums with Convenor John Bradley, 1:00-3:00 p.m. (Wednesdays, Sept 14-Oct 12)
  • Four Wars: A Musical Journey with Convenors Jerry Smith and Dick Dowen, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (Thursdays, Sept 15-Oct 20)
  • Candidates and Campaigns: The 2022 Edition with Convenors Elizabeth Bass and Carol Zar, 1:00-3:00 p.m. (Thursdays, Oct 13-Nov 3)
