Dimensions Dance Academy Hosts Adult Ballroom Night

On Saturday, November 19th, Dimensions Dance Academy is hosting an adult “Ballroom Night” from 8:00-9:30PM in the beautiful Dimension’s Ballroom, upstairs at 134 E. Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb.

Social ballroom dancing will be taught by Becca Steger, owner of “Ballroom Blitz”, who has been teaching for 13 years and recently moved back to her hometown of DeKalb. Becca teaches 12 different ballroom dances, but will focus on 1-2 styles for this event so that participants can practice what they learn. Stay after the event to discuss private dance lessons which are great for weddings and social events.

If you’d like to make it a whole night out, Dimensions has partnered with Tapa La Luna at 226 E. Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, to offer either a complimentary bruschetta or dessert of your choice with your paid meal on November 19th, for “Ballroom Night” participants only. Call 815.217.0990 to make reservations for the evening and start your night with dinner and a drink at Tapa La Luna.

An option for childcare on November 19th is Dimensions Dance Academy’s “Parents Night Out” from 6:30-9:30PM for potty trained children ages 3-12 years old. The cost is $20 for the first child and $15 for each additional sibling and includes pizza and snacks as well as fun for the kiddos!

Dimensions Dance Academy offers dance classes for ages 3 to adult in a variety of styles. This is the first time that Dimensions has presented an evening event and they hope to make it a regularly occurring option for something to do in downtown DeKalb! Purchase your “Ballroom Night” tickets, and/or sign up for “Parents Night Out” through Eventbrite, using the link posted at the top of Dimension’s website www.dimensionsdanceacademy.com.
