The Business Hall of Fame honors business leaders who have added to the continued prestige and economic growth of the DeKalb Chamber and its business community. The Pioneer Award honors business leaders who have added to early DeKalb’s growth and prestige. Hall of Fame and Pioneer inductees will be honored at the Chamber Annual Meeting, and will be permanently recognized in the Chamber’s Annual Business Directory and Area Guide.
Hall of Fame and Pioneer nominees will be evaluated according to the following criteria, and selections will be made by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce History Committee: demonstrated positive impacts on the job market and economy of DeKalb, devoted time and energy to improving the business and professional climate of our community, and service involvement and participation in the DeKalb Chamber.
