Our women’s group, Gather, held an event “Gather Gives Back” on Wednesday, December 7th, at El Jimador Mexican Grill to write holiday cards and make gift bags with fuzzy socks and candy canes for DeKalb Area Retirement Center – Oak Crest, Barb City Manor, and Voluntary Action Center’s Meals on Wheels clients. Gather created over 500 cards and 200 gift bags to be sent to seniors within the community. Gather hosts events to connect, inspire and inform women along with opportunities to give back to the community.
