City of Sandwich Committee of the Whole Council met Nov. 21

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

Mayor Latham called meeting to order at 7:42 PM

Mayor’s Report: Todd Latham

Update on bids for WWTP bids were opened Tuesday. Mayor Latham commented can we afford different rate. Further work on this do be done.

Vacation payout for 72 hours of Officer Gary Michaels will be made. Girl Scout cookies being handled by Chamber.

Attorney’s Report: No report info on Intergovernmental Agreement-Adjudication will be handled at a later time.

City Clerk’s Report: Holiday Schedule will be handled by City Clerk Denise Ii at a later meeting, as will 2023 meeting schedule.

Treasurer’s Report: Colanne Schwemlein

A report has been given to each Council Member for their input and info on mishap with Gjovik.

City Administrator’s Report: Geofff Penman

Property Tax IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) working on and getting it going.

Holiday Bonus is being worked on and info sent out to everyone for them to weigh in on this issue.

DeKalb County Accessor Sheila Johnson working on IGA agreement and will get back to Geoff Penman after further info.

City Department’s Reports:

EMA Tom Ciciora No Report

Chief Jim Bianchi reported that HVAC Boiler not working properly in new building. Should be able to keep it going until 2023 budget. Move in date November 23rd, to get things over to new building. Phone lines will be transferred and other things done as well.
