City of Genoa Economic Development Commission met Aug. 8.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
Chair Nick Bradac called the August 8, 2023 City of Genoa Economic Development Commission Meeting to order at 9:07 A.M.
On roll call, members DeaLynn Stone, Carolyn Tobinson, Josh Kubiak and Nick Bradac were present; Alyssa Seguss, City of Genoa, was also present.
The Economic Development Commission moved on to Old Business. Mr. Bradac moved and Mr. Kubiak seconded to approve the minutes of the July 11, 2023 meeting. Upon voice vote, all members present said aye.
New Business:
A. DCEDC Annual Dinner Attendee- the Commission decided that Mr. Bradac would represent the EDC at the DCEDC Annual Dinner.
B. Promotional Flyer Creation- the EDC discussed creating a promotional flyer to send to brokers and what should be on the flyer. Administrator Seguss will be drafting a flyer ahead of the next meeting for the EDC’s review.
C. Updates from the Chair: None at this time.
D. Next Meeting Agenda: The E.D.C. will be sending meeting topics to Administrator Seguss. The next meeting will be September 12th at 9:00 AM. The Commission also penciled in a Special meeting on August 15th at 9 AM to review intern applications.
There being no further business, Mr. Bradac made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 AM, seconded by Ms. Tobinson. Upon voice vote, all members present said aye.
