Canadian Pacific's Holiday Train is set to make a return to Illinois this holiday season, with four stops scheduled. This beloved holiday tradition will feature a stunning light display, live music performances, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

The annual CPKC Holiday Train tour, which spans both Canada and the United States, kicks off on November 20 and will continue until December 19. The first stop in Illinois is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, in Bensenville. This will be followed by stops in Pingree Grove, Byron, and Gurnee.

During each stop, attendees will be treated to 30 minutes of live musical performances by well-known artists. Seaforth and Kiesza will be gracing the stage at the Bensenville, Pingree Grove, and Byron stops, while Tenille Townes and Breland will be performing at the Gurnee stop.

The CPKC Holiday Train tour serves as a fundraising event for food banks across the United States and Canada. Donations are collected for local charities, and CPKC makes a donation to a local food pantry at each stop. The train's brightly decorated stage serves as a platform for these talented musicians to entertain the crowd with their free concerts.

Since its inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has been making a significant impact on communities. To date, it has raised over $22.5 million and collected more than five million pounds of food for community food banks across North America.

"We are thrilled to bring back the Holiday Train to Illinois this year. It is always heartwarming to see the joy it brings to families during the holiday season," said a representative from Canadian Pacific.

The performers for this year's tour are equally excited to be a part of this meaningful event. Seaforth, a country music duo from Australia, is looking forward to sharing their music with the audience. "We are honored to be performing on the Holiday Train tour. It's an incredible opportunity to spread holiday cheer and support a great cause," said Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson of Seaforth.

Kiesza, the Canadian singer-songwriter known for her dynamic music career, is also thrilled to be a part of the tour. "I am excited to join the Holiday Train and contribute to the efforts of raising funds and awareness for food banks. Music has the power to bring people together, especially during the holiday season," said Kiesza.

Tenille Townes, the Canadian country music singer, and Breland, the American singer-songwriter and record producer, are equally enthusiastic about their involvement. "Being able to use our music to make a positive impact is truly special. We can't wait to perform on the Holiday Train tour and help support local communities," said Tenille Townes and Breland.

The CPKC Holiday Train is not only a festive event but also a reminder of the importance of giving back. As the train makes its way through Illinois, it serves as a beacon of hope, spreading joy and raising awareness about the need to support those who are less fortunate during the holiday season.

So mark your calendars and come join the festivities as the Holiday Train lights up Illinois with its dazzling display and captivating performances. It's an experience that will warm your heart and make a lasting impact on the community.
