On Tuesday, January 2, former National Christian Academy standout, Zion Russell’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 51-73 in their NCAA D1 game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place in DeKalb, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Akron Zips this season.

The Northern Illinois Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 6 at 1 p.m. in Athens, Ohio.
