DeKalb County Board of Review met Feb. 6.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Those in attendance: Dan Cribben, Chairman; John Linderoth, Brian Rosenow, Members; Bridget Nodurft, Clerk; Michelle Christensen, Chief Deputy; John Mataitis, Member of the Public.
I. Call to Order: Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:00 am.
II. Roll Call: Chairman asked that the record show all present.
III. Review Agenda for Approval / Amendment: John moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved.
IV. Review Prior Meeting Minutes for Approval: John moved to approved the January 31, 2024 minutes as written. Dan seconded motion. Vote taken, 2-yay and 1-abstained. Motion passed.
V. Public Comments: Mr. Mataits made inquiry of the 2023-BRC-0037 Board of Review final decision regarding what recent sale was used and referenced another sale in the area.
VI. Work Load
a) Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Person Exemptions (HEPD): After Board review, John moved to approve 1-New and 1-Renewal HEPD applications. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.
b) Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions (SHEVD): After Board review, John moved to approve 3-New and 2-Renewal SHEVD applications. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.
c) Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions (HE): After Board review, John moved to approve 5-New HE applications. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.
d) Review to Approve / Deny Assessor Changes: After Board review, John moved to approved 2 Assessor Stipulations #196-197 to include four parcels. Dan seconded motion. Vote taken, 2-yay and 1-abstained. Motion passed.
e) Review to Approve / Deny Mapping Changes: None

VIII. Adjournment: John moved to adjourn meeting. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. Meeting adjourned at 9:27 am.
