On Sunday, February 18, former Mt. Zion High School standout Isabel Shafer’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place in Mobile, Alabama. This was their first matchup against the Central Michigan Chippewas this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. in Bowling Green, Kentucky against Southern Illinois Salukis.
