On Friday, February 16, former South Elgin High School standout Cara Cruthers’ current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division I game against the UAB Blazers.

The game took place in Mobile, Alabama. This was their first matchup against the UAB Blazers this season.
