On Friday, February 23, former Altoona High School standout Jake Nelson’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division I game against the Northwestern State Demons.

The game took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This was their second matchup against the Northwestern State Demons this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 1 p.m. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana against LSU Tigers.
