Upcoming community events include blood drive and property tax seminar

The House concluded a marathon spring session at nearly 5 a.m. yesterday, which included passing the largest budget in state history. Further details on the budget and the end of the spring session will be covered in an upcoming newsletter.

Several upcoming events are being organized, including a blood drive on June 3. Illinois continues to face a blood shortage, and each donation can save up to three lives.

**Community Blood Drive**

Sen. Dave Syverson and Rep. Keicher are hosting a community blood drive in partnership with Kishwaukee Family YMCA and Versiti.

**Kid’s Fair**

Rep. Dan Ugaste and Rep. Keicher are hosting an Outside Kids Fair on Saturday, June 8.

- Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

- Location: Chapelstreet Church, 3435 Keslinger Road, Geneva

The event includes free admission, refreshments, giveaways, and various demonstrations from local agencies.

**Understand & Learn How to Appeal Your Property Taxes – Kane Co.**

State Sen. Dave Syverson and Kane County Supervisor of Assessments Mark Armstrong will join Rep. Keicher for a seminar on property taxes and appeals.

**Mobile DMV**

A Mobile DMV event is scheduled for June 27 with services including Driver’s License renewals and REAL ID applications.
