State Representative Jeff Keicher and State Senator Dave Syverson are partnering with the Fox Valley United Way for a Diaper Drive to support local families. The diapers and baby wipes collected through the drive will go to not-for-profit groups in Kane and Kendall counties.
Diapers and wipes will be collected at Keicher and Syverson’s joint office in Hampshire, located at 115 W. Oak Knoll Drive, Hampshire, IL 60140, through September 27. Drop-off hours are between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Diaper sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are needed, with the larger sizes being in greatest demand. Pull-ups, adult diapers, and baby wipes are also required.
"Diapers cannot be purchased with WIC or SNAP benefits," organizers noted. "Food pantries are limited in the amount of diapers they can give out per child. Please consider donating to help local families keep their children happy and healthy!"
