A. Acceptance of Petition for annexation of Property

B. Approval of Ordinance 2024-09: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 1.42 ACRES LOCATED AT U.S. ROUTE 34, SANDWICH, ILLINOIS, PERMANENT INDEX NO. 19-36-227-006 TO THE CITY OF SANDWICH pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/7-1-9 (from Chapter 24, par. 7-1-9).

C. Possible Action to Approve Ordinance 2024-08: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 54 of the Sandwich Municipal Code to ban soliciting on Sundays

13. New Business

A. Authorize Mayor to Terminate Solar Power Purchase Agreement & Site Lease with Nelnet Renewable Energy of Lincoln, Nebraska

B. Motion to waive competitive bid process for Lead Service Line Potholing

C. Authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with CamVac LLC of Sandwich, Illinois, for potholing services to assist with the identification of Lead Service Lines in an amount not to exceed $40,000

D. Approval of Bills in the amount of $170,451.13

14. Executive Session

A. Under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2) Collective negotiating matter between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. *Possible action to follow

B. Under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(5) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meeting held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired.

15. Announcements

A. City Offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day

B. The next Committee of the Whole Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 7:00 pm

C. The next Regular City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, immediately following the Committee of the Whole meeting.
