Valentines card drive for seniors organized by Illinois lawmakers

State Senator Dave Syverson and State Representative Jeff Keicher are inviting their constituents to participate in the annual Valentines for Seniors card drive. The initiative aims to bring joy to residents of long-term care facilities by delivering Valentine’s Day cards created by community members.

Syverson and Keicher are reaching out to churches, schools, businesses, and other groups in the 35th Senate District and 70th House District to contribute cards. "We encourage community members, churches, schools, businesses, and other groups to participate," they stated. Cards can be mailed or dropped off at designated legislative offices in Cherry Valley, Sycamore, and Hampshire until February 7.

The collection points for the cards are as follows:
