Special Executive Committee Minutes

The Executive Committee of the DeKalb County Board met in Sycamore, Illinois on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 6:10 p.m. Those present were Committee Members Bagby, Campbell, Crawford, Ilenikhena, Pickett, Plote, and Vice-Chair Webb. Lampkins and Chair Frieders were absent. A quorum was established with seven Members present and two absent.

Others present were County Human Resource Manager Tim Neubert, Rhonda Henke, and Chris Porterfield.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

Pickett moved to approve the agenda as presented. Crawford seconded the motion and it was carried by voice vote.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Pickett moved to enter in Executive Session for the purposes of discussing personnel provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) at 6:15 p.m. Crawford seconded the motion and it was carried by a 7-0-2 roll call vote. Those voting aye were Members Bagby, Campbell, Crawford, Ilenikhena, Pickett, Plote, and Vice-Chair Webb.

Lampkins arrived. There were now eight Members present and one absent. The Committee entered back into their Open Meeting at 8:10 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT

Lampkins moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:11 p.m. Crawford seconded the motion and it was approved by voice vote.
