DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Board met June 18.

Any member of the public may address the Forest Preserve District Board for up to 3 minutes on any topic of their choosing. There will be no yielding of time to other members of the public and agenda time for public comments is limited to 30 minutes in total.

5. Resolutions

a. Resolution FP-R2025-010—A Resolution Awarding the 2025 DeKalb County Forest Preserve G2K Multi Use Path Project to Martin & Co Excavating, of Oregon, Illinois in the amount of $93,236.40.

For the bid opening on March 31, 2025, Resolution FP-R2025-010 awards the low bid meeting specification out of four bidders to Martin & Co Excavating, of Oregon, Illinois in the amount of $93,236.40. The estimate of cost was $117,885.00.

Committee Action: The Forest Preserve Operations Committee considered Resolution FP R2025-010 on May 22nd and forwarded the Resolution to the Forest Preserve District Commission with a favorable recommendation by a voice vote, with all votes cast in the affirmative.

b. Resolution FP-R2025-011—A Resolution Approving the Payment of Forest Preserve Claims for June 2025, and Off-Cycle Claims Paid During the Previous Month, Including All Claims for Travel, Meals, and Lodging, in the Amount of $125,191.82.

6. Reports of Forest Preserve Officials: Move to accept and place on file the following Reports of Forest Preserve Officials.
