DeKalb County Executive Committee met May 27.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The Executive Committee of the DeKalb County Board met in Sycamore, Illinois on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Those present were Committee Members Tim Bagby, Scott Campbell, Savannah Ilenikhena, Kathy Lampkins, County Board Vice-Chair Ellingsworth Webb, and County Board Chair John Frieders. Rukisha Crawford, Michelle Pickett, and Roy Plote were absent at the time of roll call. A quorum was established with six Members present and three absent. 

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA 

Ilenikhena moved to approve the agenda as presented. Bagby seconded the motion and it was carried by voice vote. 

PUBLIC COMMENTS 

There were no public comments. 

EXECUTIVE SESSION 

Vice-Chair Webb moved to enter into Executive Session for the purposes of discussing personnel provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) at 7:32 p.m. Lampkins seconded the motion and it was carried by a 6-0-3 roll call vote. Those voting aye were Members Bagby, Campbell, Ilenikhena, Lampkins, Vice-Chair Webb, and Chair Frieders. 

Crawford, Pickett, and Plote all arrived during Executive Session. 

The Committee entered back into their Open Meeting at 9:08 p.m. 

ADJOURNMENT

Bagby moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:09 p.m. Pickett seconded the motion and it was approved by voice vote
