Analysis: Hinckley pays $1.87 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Hinckley Community Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 65.2 percent of the $13,569 the Hinckley Community Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.87 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DeKalb Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hinckley contributed $8,852 to the fund, which saw a $254 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $4,717, or 34.8 percent, in 2016.
