Graduates earn 981 degrees, certificates from Kishwaukee College

About 36.2 percent of the 981 degrees and certificates handed out by the Kishwaukee College in 2016-17 were to students in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Malta conferred 355 associate's degrees in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Biological and Physical Sciences. Data shows the school gave out 355 associate's degrees in Biological and Physical Sciences, followed by 141 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide and 122 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.

The college enrolled 3,775 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
