Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.

Virginia J. Weber, 90, of Somonauk, Illinois passed away, Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. She was born November 19, 1928 in Waterman, IL the daughter of LaVerne C. and Althea M. (Passow) Weber. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk, IL. Former member of The Junior Women’s Club. Formerly employed by AVCO New Idea in Sandwich, IL and Somonauk Insurance. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Barbara Weber of Montgomery, IL, and one brother-in-law, Virgil Lippold of LaSalle, IL; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Shirley Lippold, one brother LaVerne Weber; two nephews, Paul Lippold, and Jimmy Weber.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk, IL, with Pastor Harold Grafe officiating Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the church until the service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk, IL.
