Administrators in Belvidere Community Unit School District 100 earn an average of $93,922 per year, ranking 529th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a DeKalb Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 1.6% higher than in 2014 and 6.4% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 12.5% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Boone County school district enrolled 8003 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 221 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
