Democratic Richard H Schmack's election campaign committee, Citizens to Elect Richard Schmack, spent $5,820 in the third quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Schmack's committee spent the most on magazine advertising in the quarter, with 87.7% of this total ($1,300) going to New Values Magazine in Dekalb. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Schmack's committee spent its money in the third quarter.
