One motor vehicle theft reported on Northern Illinois University campus in 2016

There was 1 on-campus motor vehicle theft in 2016 on the campus of Northern Illinois University, located in Dekalb, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2015, there were 2 motor vehicle thefts on the campus; and in 2014, there were 3 motor vehicle thefts. In the three year period from 2014 through 2016, there were 6 total motor vehicle thefts on the campus.
