Sandwich (DeKalb County) home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Sandwich in DeKalb County rose by $40,470 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,200 - a 65.6% increase over the $61,730 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Sandwich in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Sandwich for 2017 was $4,273.70. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,228.10. This marks an increase of 1.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.2%.
