Kingston home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Kingston rose by $84,930 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,600 - a 1497.9% increase over the $5,670 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Kingston in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Kingston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,632, approximately 5.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
