DeKalb home prices rise in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in DeKalb rose by $66,216 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,620 - a 91.5% increase over the $72,404 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in DeKalb in January 2017.

The median sales tax in DeKalb for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,771, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for January 2018.
