DeKalb home prices rise in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in DeKalb rose by $11,304 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $88,996 - a 14.5% increase over the $77,692 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in DeKalb in March 2017.

The median sales tax in DeKalb for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,771, approximately 5.4% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
