There was one offender released on parole during the third quarter living near Illinois zip code 60530, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DeKalb Times.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 36-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving alcohol in 2018 when he was 35 years old.
