DeKalb home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in DeKalb rose by $9,950 while total sales increased by 11.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 284 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,950 - a 8% increase over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 255 homes sold in DeKalb in the first half of 2017.
