Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory issued the following announcement.
Dorothy L. Tidwell, 98, of Spring Creek, PA. passed away Sunday morning, November 10, 2019 at her home.
She was born February 10, 1921, in Cleveland, OH. She worked for the superintendent of schools in Warren and also in Modesto, CA as secretary to the superintendent of schools.
She is survived by her children, Gloria Marie Short and Mark Gowan Craytor; her grandchildren, Ryan Tyner, Jeremy Craytor, Holly Craytor and Greg Craytor; her great-grandchildren, Logan Tyner, Colton Craytor, Halle Mae Craytor, Autumn Craytor, Alexis and Aaliyah Craytor, her half-sister, Ruth Taylor and her half-brother, Howard Harley both of Ashtabula, OH; a niece, Opal Goodenow; two great-nieces, Linda Brown and Debbie Oleksuk all of Conneaut, OH and a daughter-in-law, Linda Craytor of Modesto, CA.
She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Charles Craytor, Elmer Selander and Joe Tidwell, a son, David Charles Craytor.
No services are to be held at this time.
