Village Of Kirkland Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 10.
ARRESTED: Intimidation, harassment by telephone
On 12/5/2019 The Kirkland Police Department received a report of intimidation and harassment by telephone. After a thorough investigation was conducted, Officers found that the incident showed merit.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident at his home in DeKalb.
The DeKalb County State's Attorney's Office authorized Felony charges to:
Demetric D. Starling - DOB: 10/24/1986 - of DeKalb, IL
(720 ILCS 5/2-6) Intimidation - Felony
(720 ILCS 5/26.5-2a2 - Harassment by telephone - Felony
720 ILCS 5/26.5-2a3 - Harassment by telephone - Felony
