Q1 2019 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60115 convicted of crimes against persons

There were two offenders convicted of crimes against persons released on parole near Illinois zip code 60115 during the first quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DeKalb Times.

The data shows that a man and woman were released in 60115. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 35-year-old woman sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Toni C. Hale. She was convicted of a crime against a person in 2018 when she was 34 years old. She is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
