Anderson Funeral Home Crematory - Dekalb recently issued the following announcement.

Daniel J. Pastore, 54, of DeKalb, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield.

He was born November 3, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana, the son of Corrado and Geraldine (Adams) Pastore. Daniel married Maria Niziolek on December 13, 2003.

Daniel was the owner of ABC Discs, a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association and Cathedral of Praise Church.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; his mother, Geraldine; children, Ryan Proud, Scott (Veronica) Proud, Danny Jr., Tony, Samantha, Amanda and Vinny Pastore; siblings, Richard (Katherine), Robert (Vicki), David (Helena) and Michael Pastore; uncle to many.

He was preceded in death by his father Corrado.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28 , 2020, at Cathedral of Praise Church, 1126 S 1st Street, DeKalb, with the Rev. Brandon Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required at both Visitation and Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Daniel J. Pastore Memorial Fund, addressed to the Pastore Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
