Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home recently issued the following announcement.

Obituary for Robert L "Rob" Stoecker

Robert  L. “Rob” Stoecker, 54, of Yorkville, IL passed away Thursday, January  7, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born August 29,  1966 in Aurora, IL the son of Leonard E. & Joyce E. (Duke) Stoecker.  He married Jennifer (Harvey) and had their two sons and later went on  to marry Karen F. McClernon in November of 2008. He loved the great  outdoors, ATV’s, and fast cars. Most of all he loved spending time with  his family.

He is survived by his wife, Karen F. McClernon;  two son’s Jeremy (Melanie Carr) Stoecker of Montgomery, IL and Nicholas  Stoecker of Oswego, IL; two stepdaughters Danielle Castillo of Sycamore,  IL and Chelsea Mishos of North Carolina; two stepsons Zachary Buckley  of Colorado and Spencer Buckley of Yorkville, IL; 3 siblings Leonard  (Nancy) Stoecker of Aurora, IL, Teri (Kerry) Hix of Owego, IL, and Jana  (Todd) Hester of Sugar Grove, IL; 3 step grandchildren Emmi, Elena, and  AJ; the mother of his children Jennifer; numerous nieces, nephews,  cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Cathy Elder; stepfather Harold “Olie” Olson.
