January 2021: Home prices in Genoa increased

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2021 in Genoa rose by $25,950 while total sales decreased by 55.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2021, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $224,950 - a 13% increase over the $199,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Genoa in January 2020.

The median sales tax in Genoa for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,863, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for January 2021.
