Obituary for David N. Schwartz
David N. Schwartz, 76, of Plano, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his home. He was born September 21, 1944 in Hannibal, MO the son of George R. and Mary Jo (Banta) Schwartz. He married Patricia Hall on August 6, 1966 in Kirksville, MO. He retired from Caterpillar after 43 years. He adored cars, especially Corvettes. David loved to woodwork and travel in his RV. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Schwartz; his three children Dionne (Mike) Horne of Sycamore, IL, Jon (Katie) Schwartz of Yorkville, IL, and Todd Schwartz of Aurora, IL; two grandchildren Lillian and Maddie; four brothers Jon (Carolyn) Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, Mike (Randy) Smith-Schwartz of Saint Louis, MO, Raymond Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, and Tony (Penny) Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, one sister Teresa (Jeff) Johanning of Herculaneum, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Denny Schwartz, one sister Marcia Overstreet, and one sister-in-law Janet Schwartz.
