The DeKalb County Board met in special session at the Legislative Center’s Gathertorium on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 9:41 p.m. Chair Willis called the meeting to order, and the Clerk called the roll. Those present were Board Members Stewart Ogilvie, Michelle Pickett, Roy Plote, Chris Porterfield, Ellingsworth Webb, Tim Bagby, Scott Campbell, Mary Cozad, Rukisha Crawford, Patrick Deutsch, Meryl Domina, Laurie Emmer, Vice-Chair John Frieders, Ben Haier, Rhonda Henke, Savannah Ilenikhena, Kathy Lampkins, Maureen Little, Jim Luebke, Terri Mann-Lamb, and Chair Suzanne Willis. Jerry Osland, Amber Quitno, and Joe Marcinkowski were absent. There was a quorum established with twenty-one Members present and three absent
Ogilvie led in the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion
It was moved by Luebke and seconded by Webb to approve the agenda as presented.
Voice Vote
A voice vote was taken on the agenda as presented. The motion carried.

APPOINTMENTS
Motion
It was moved by Mann-Lamb and seconded by Porterfield to approve the following appointments:
General Assistance Appeal Board
• Suzanne Willis appointed to fill an unexpired four-year term ending June 30, 2024.
• Thomas Plote appointed to fill an unexpired four-year term ending June 30, 2024.
• Dale Sanderson appointed to fill an unexpired four-year term ending June 30, 2024.
Voice Vote
The motion was carried by voice vote with abstentions from Webb, Plote, and Chair Wills.

Plote moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:43 p.m. Ilenikhena seconded the motion.
