DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Board met April 17.

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center’s Gathertorium on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 7:38 p.m. President Webb called the meeting to order, and the Secretary called the roll. Those present were Commissioners Chris Porterfield, Amber Quitno, Tim Bagby, Scott Campbell, Mary Cozad, Rukisha Crawford, Patrick Deutsch, Meryl Domina, Laurie Emmer, Vice-President John Frieders, Ben Haier, Rhonda Henke, Laura Hoffman, Savannah Ilenikhena, Kathy Lampkins, Maureen Little, Jim Luebke, Terri Mann-Lamb, Joe Marcinkowski, Stewart Ogilvie, Jerry Osland, Michelle Pickett, Roy Plote, and President Ellingsworth Webb. A quorum was established with all twenty-four Commissioners present.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion

Pickett moved to approve the agenda as presented and Crawford seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Webb called for a voice vote to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion

Cozad moved to approve the minutes of the March 20, 2024 meeting. Luebke seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Webb asked for a voice vote on the approval of minutes. The motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS

Resolution FP-R2024-005: A Resolution Approving the Payment of Forest Preserve Claims for April 2024, and Off-Cycle Claims Paid During the Previous Month, Including All Claims for Travel, Meals, and Lodging, in the Amount of $218,325.74

Motion

Plote moved that the DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners hereby approve the payment of Forest Preserve claims for April 2024, and off-cycle claims paid during the previous month, including all claims for travel, meals, and lodging in the amount of $218,325.74. Marcinkowski seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote

President Webb called for a roll call vote on the motion to approve the District's April 2024 Claims. Those voting aye were Commissioners Porterfield, Quitno, Bagby, Campbell, Cozad, Crawford, Deutsch, Domina, Emmer, Frieders, Haier, Henke, Hoffman, Ilenikhena, Lampkins, Little, Luebke, Mann-Lamb, Marcinkowski, Ogilvie, Osland, Pickett, Plote, and President Webb. The motion carried 24-0-0.

Reports of District Officials

Motion

Plote moved to accept and place on file the following Reports of District Officials:

Cash & Investments in Forest Preserve Bank Accounts - March 2024

Forest Preserve District Monthly Reports - February / March 2024

Mann-Lamb seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

The President requested a voice vote to accept the Reports of District Officials as presented. The motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion

Luebke moved to adjourn at 7:43 p.m. and Little seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Webb called for a voice vote to adjoum. Motion carried.
