The Rockton accounting of Quimby and Co. will become part of Siepert and Co. on Oct. 1, according to a press release.
Siepert will add Quimby's six employees to its current staff of 23. Siepert has offices in Roscoe and Sycamore as well as Beloit, Wisconsin, although the Roscoe office will move to 4278 E. Rockton Road — about 4 miles north of the current office — to the Swedish American Medical Group campus.
“The Quimby and Co. team will strengthen Siepert’s commitment to our audit services as well as bring additional resources in our service areas of non-profit, tax, and payroll,” Siepert managing partner Dennis Hildebrandt said.

Quimby President Robert Quimby said the move is an exciting one for his firm.
“We look forward to continue offering a full range of business solutions that will benefit our clients and we are enthusiastic about the new opportunities that will undoubtedly arise from this venture," he said in the press release.
