School discipline: Which DeKalb County districts reported the most tobacco-related suspensions?

Hiawatha Community Unit School District 426, Somonauk Community Unit School District 432 and Genoa Kingston Community Unit School District 424 were among those in Illinois that reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to tobacco during the 2016-17 school year in DeKalb County, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
