De Kalb First United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.
Wednesdays, February 12 & 19, and March 4, 11 & 18
Rome VBS invites families to step back in time in Rome, exploring the life of the apostle Paul and the underground church. Kids and adults participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, hear impressive stories about Paul and the underground church, and play team-building games.
A light, kid-friendly meal will be served at 5:30 pm, with the VBS program beginning promptly at 5:50 pm and ending at 7:30.
VBS is open to kids ages 4 years old through 6th grade. 7th grade and older can participate as youth volunteers.
